Ok-We have waited Long Enough-Lets have some Blogs

What is a blog ? the word is derived from the term " weblog " which is a site containing regular entries or descriptions of events.Blogging sites have expanded over recent years and now seem to contain all types of material including videos,and are now mainly sites where the individual expresses his/her opinions on the world at large or discusses a particular subject. I will however revert to the original type of blog and will describe my life today 30th October 2008.Plus other points for discussion.

As a result of a hard week at work I decided that today I would take a day off and have a rest.After Susan departed for work at 7-45am I decided that I would stay in bed and have a few hours extra "kip" Arose at 10am and had breakfast.Checked my e-mails work and private.Had a shower and got dressed. 11am picked up my 90 year old mother and took her shopping to Tesco.1pm returned home and had lunch.With the assistance of Skype spoke to three friends in Kusadasi.Sorted out some personal paper work.5pm Susan returned home,made a brew and this is where I am now at 17-20pm posting this blog.Is it true that all of us who visit the Opus every year constantly think about our next visit,the good times we have had and the good times we are going to have.Do you all consider going somwhere else for a holiday-maybe only briefly-but always return to the Opus because wherelse we would we get such good value for money and be looked after so well.10 years next year we have been going to the Opus and Kusadasi are we boring or have we found a little gem that not many people know about.It is rare for a day to go by in our house without the Opus and Kusadasi being mentioned,this is probably because we tend to keep in touch with all the Turkish people we have made friends with. Are we sad and boring ? Come on let me know your thoughts

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your comment.we hope netty is better soon.I myself have had some medical problems over the past two years which has restricted our visits to the Opus.Fortunately I am much improved and we travel out on the 23rd May for two weeks.Sue says hello to Netty.We may go back in September or October but can only decide when we return from this holiday-see you soon -John and Sue

marabba. me and netty have been going to turkey 13 years now we went from one resort to another twice a year and ended up in kussaddsi 2001 we droped on ben and opus by accident as friends tryed to book our hotel but couldn't get in but they ended up in opus we went to meet them and fell in love with the opus we spent two weeks at the opus instead of our hotel since then like you we have booked the opus every year we we booked aug last year and had to cancel with ben as netty had to go in for a heart bypass hopeing to get back to opus late this year 09 as soon as netty can fly not long as she is a lot better now with the op see you soon steve n netty
